PAYMENT METHOD #1: STANDARD
CLIENT OWNS THE VIDEO, COMPLETES PAYMENT AT DELIVERY
Videos priced at $1000-$4000 per finished minute
Price includes all planning, travel, shooting, editing, graphics creation, web optimization, uploading, and revisions. Using this model, clients own the rights to their video at the time of delivery. We require for a 50% refundable deposit at the time the shoot is scheduled. Using this model saves clients as much as 20-30% over using the monthly billing model, and standard billing clients can immediately recieve the actual video files as opposed to Vimeo or YouTube embedding. Video file will be delivered in any format clients select, from full HD to compressions for mobile websites.
PAYMENT METHOD #2: MONTHLY BILLING
STORYFARM OWNS RIGHTS UNTIL 12 PAYMENTS MADE
60 SECOND VIDEOS STARTING AT JUST $99 PER MONTH
Modeled after our video directory pricing structure, clients can get a video made and up for as little as $99 upfront. Clients must sign a contract obligating them to 12 monthly payments. Total project bill will be divided by 12 and paid monthly. This is an ideal solution for many smaller businesses looking to test the waters before jumping in. Clients are required to embed videos from Vimeo or YouTube using this model, video files delivered after 12 months are complete.
Simplest answer: it's more predictable and straightforward. When you go to a restaurant, you don't get a list of what the ingredients cost--you get the info that you really want: how much does the meal cost? That's how we do it. Many of our competitors charge by the hour, half-day or day to shoot then hourly rates for editing, revisions, etc. The list goes on. What ends up happening is a low estimate becomes a high final price. It's deceptive and we don't do it. We don't give estimates, we tell you up front the final price.
For clients in these three professions taking advantage of our meetlocal directory programs, we offer special low-risk pricing. In the meetlocal programs, Storyfarm retains all rights to the videos forever, so clients have the option to cancel at any time and have no further obligations. Essentially, because we may make money from our directory libraries from owning the content, we allow those clients the option of cancellation. We cannot offer that to clients outside those fields because their videos, without a directory that we can monetize, have value for our clients but not Storyfarm. Clients in these three fields can also use the Standard Method, own the rights immediately, and get 3 years of complimentary inclusion is the appropriate meetlocal directory.
